I hate all the verses, cause they all are just made to excuse rape because it’s “instinct” and they “can’t control it” and other dumb bs
Omegaverse is definitely one of my least fav genres. I just hate the idea of someone not being able to control their sexual urges
Honestly, I feel the same way. I know a lot of people love it, but I just can’t get into it, and I agree a lot of them feed into the dumb tropes like the alpha being some super rich asshole and the omega being the stereotypical weak pushover.
There are some good ones out there, but for the most part I’m not into the traditional omegaverse.

If you haven’t read it, it’s an alpha x beta (and no he doesn’t turn into an omega either) and it kind of makes fun of a lot of stereotypical omegaverse tropes, so I’d recommend it even if you don’t like omegaverse
YES, I do read a lot of omega verse myself and I do actually like some, but most tend to fall under the category of the alpha overpowering the omega and leads to SA that is just later on dismissed in the story.. I always end up dropping the story entirely
I get that it’s because alpha’s are seen as more significant but I get really cringed out at the most inconvenient times an omega gets in heat around them and then the plot just goes everywhere.
its very hard to find an omega verse story with characters that have common sense, that aren’t just background characters ╥﹏╥
honestly same. but whenever i do find the few that deviate from the norm… chef’s kiss.
