It's rly bad writing to construct your entire narrative around a specific couple then waste almost a third of it setting up one of the characters with someone else and make him LIKEABLE. I do not want Ramdane to be with Awra, like, fuck no, but why would you give me his pov? This is what you do when you want the readers to care for, to feel sorry for a character, and yeah, it worked. Now I feel sorry for Awra but I can not wish for his happiness because his happiness would mean Wolsey's sadness. It just makes the reader feel unfulfilled. Like… wtf was the editor thinking by green lighting this plot and msot specific THIS pov??? Ffs
