I read the novel and it's such a bittersweet love story between the MC and the ML (the king). And maybe because the novel is more detailed, the killing/massacre was very disturbing/brutal.
And for those who were doubtful who killed the MC's mother, unfortunately, it was indeed the ML king who ordered to kill the Imaes. There was a backstory behind this later on why he hated Imaes and also why he doesn't feel any type of emotions/remorse/guilt.
The second lead is actually the ML's half brother from the late king and his concubine. He really fell for the MC (more like bewitched? ) and will have this really weird sexual fetish and obsession towards the MC and his dirty talks lmao.
If anybody is interested on wanting more spoilers, let me know, although the novel has about 50 chapters and 1 chapter is so long! I think 1 novel chapter covers around 3 manhwa chapters? From where we are in the manhwa, we're in chapter 18 in the novel. (Please note that in the manhwa, they might not be able to cover everything from the novel.)
