I do wonder if he would have had a daughter with the duchess that looked like her if he would have ignored her as much. The duchess most probably would have as she wouldn’t have looked like the princess but maybe not the duke.

You all can call Vanessa selfish for using Sophie as a bargaining chip but girl was desperate to escape! That I can understand.
