I also think that there will be an arc where Yejun would leave at some point but he for sure would do anything to take their son with him, including finding solution for his son's condition if he ever tries to leave. Then voila ! Well have our 'chasing arc'
I think the seme trying to hide one of the side effect of him pouring pheromones on beta. Remember he's a dominant, so it's probably their RARE ability to turns beta into omega, so he didn't wanna say that for fear uke blames him for his gender change? Even though it's practically his fault if my theory is right.

I think what I read from korean commenter, there's a tag from this manhwa that usually being used for runaway uke and regretful seme lol so Korean readers suspect there would be an arc where the uke is leaving. But somehow i dont want that .....
