Why the princess and not her tho ? If she builds experience with her hubby they could go to adventure and war and so one together. His wife is a mage and he needs to deal with it
cause the princess has done this stuff before and it’s more familiar and used to it in comparison to our fl also she is still learning to become a mage and yeah he does need to accept it but throwing her in the deep end isn’t always the best idea
y’all have little reason to shit on riftan in my option cause this is literally what he meant like she would be exhausted from the trip and when they need her she might not be able to help because of her exhaustion. also realistically in this period ladies would literally never ever do this so him letting her come along on a dangerous journey was already a massive step, but yeah i understand he was unnecessarily rude towards her and that’s like the only reason y’all should be angry with him
