Btw the story is fiction but victim blaming is very harmful
If you ever see a similar problem like the one in the story irl it's best to not point fingers and ridicule anyone involve, for both are suffering and broken
Its best to advice them to get counseling
The setting of the story doesn't really have counseling I doubt ML and Merhen would've live differently if the FL didnt came to their world

The adults in their life are so unstable the only one who seemed to have their life together is the one that came from the future even tho she was sad she reunited with her family atleast that's good for her
ven tho those 2 are wrecked up from childloss and childhood trauma I still wish they'll be able to both heal
