My theory is that Jerry was in denial bc he thought iliya's feelings were all because of the game, so he didn't want to fall in love or even admit his feelings. But when illiya "erased" his liking points and still loved him it showed Jerry that he likes him regardless of the game, which in turn allowed him to love him back. It still feels a bit rushed, but that's a theory that kinda makes it make sense to me(￣∇￣")
lowkey that does start to make sense but like almost half of the story Jerry still thought of Illya as a friend so for me its just the build up is too rush lmao
Oh it definitely is too rushed! Like it would've definitely made more sense for a chapter where Jerry realizes all the small things he actually kinda liked about iliya or iliya doing (staying with him to sleep, how cute he looks, stuff like that) and THEN this chapter. The author is generally rushing this story to an end from what I got, so I'm just using what we git to make sense of it ╥﹏╥
