Bitches; Sakwol indeed was betrayed because he was abandoned, yes, the prince did it to “protect him” but still he had to go through the pain of being abandoned alone (10 yrs had passed) still when they reunited he did NOT killed him as the others wanted to as there is a deeply rooted hatred towards the royal family and he is a ROYAL. Yes, he’s being use as a stabilizer but that’s the best he can do for him and what he can do to stay alive. When Sakwol was away it is CLEAR that everything that happened was because the people acted on their own and not under his command. Stop bitchig and let the story develop.

I don’t see how the prince ABANDONED him? In a way maybe, but he and Sakwol were nothing like lovers, they never established such relationship. I definitely agree it was shitty of the prince to do so regardless. He could’ve explained to Sakwol in person. But a decision was made, I don’t know if Sakwol was alone for those 10 years but yeah I agree it sucks he had to deal with an unrequited love and being kicked out for years.

I don’t think the prince did it to wholely protect sakwol, it’s more of him trying to reign as a king in future and stabilize by marrying a woman. He saw Sakwol as someone he might be distracted by.

Even so, Sakwol still abused his authority and raped the prince. He didn’t have to do that for the prince to stay alive, that’s where I say his pettiness comes into play.

The prince still had saved him off the streets and beggar state, so it disgusts me that he’s still petty after 10 years and hurting him, cutting his hair off and let’s not even talk about the rape.

For the “people acted on their own”, I agree, I know Sakwol wouldn’t have let that happen, but I’m just replying to those who blame the prince for defending himself as if he thinks he’s higher than others. I doubt he thinks that he’s higher of a human being than others, he just called those people LOWLY because they did something lowly (trying to hurt another).

I don’t expect the prince to reciprocate Sakwol’s love for him, nobody should force that. Regardless of their positions.

Also when I say I don’t see how the prince abandoned him; I mean that the prince made sure Sakwol knew he is being kicked out, and gave him money as well. He isn’t obligated to keep Sakwol within the palace.

The most nicest thing he did for Sakwol was accompany him and help him from the beggar state.

Also I do hope the uke gets character development. And same for top, he can be a bit egotistical, but I can see why due to the times back then and he was literally raised in royalty.

Nvm. I will agree with you now that him being kicked out without prior notice is betrayal in a sense. The prince kicked him out for the throne and saw him as a distraction. Indeed betrayal, of course it doesn’t justify his harmful acts towards the prince now.

I can only hope for good development. I hope there’s no love rivals either.
