If the hate was said after MC left them then I totally get it but why before??? Idk this is the only part that made the whole plot a bit off to me.

I mean I’d be pissed off too if someone disgraced my race and changed it… it’s as if that MC was saying that being light race wasn’t good enough and changed their entire race just to be stronger… kinda saying “light race is weak.” imo I’d feel disrespected and disgraced..

Luhak wanted their empire to stand and be strong without needing to change their entire race. MC erased all of what the empire was originally just so he could rebuild it in his own terms/how he wanted, and that’s why Luhak says that MC isn’t the one he was looking for. He wanted a king who would lead the light race to prevail, without having to change what they were, basically
