Yeah you’re not alone, i noticed that too
I recently reread the last few chapters, and it's not sudden as of this season. In season 1 he's quick to get cuddly and help him sleep as well but you are right in that there's no good build up to it. He just seems obsessed now.
I feel like maybe that could be due to the MC's toxin. Because he's different, maybe his toxin affects people differently? ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Am i missing something?? It been while but the dynamics r all different. Like when was he so comfy with emperor dude and why is emperor not raging 24/7. Ig it character development but it seems sudden. No?? Especially bc it picked up right where season 1 stopped. Idk it feels a but jarring but i might be forgetting stuff from season 1.
