It was shown when the older brother said “ I need to control at least one thing in that house “ showing that the incest isn’t particularly because of romantic feelings but because he wants to control and have a hold on his brother . Knowing that the relationship would be a part of his brothers shameful past that’s why he holds it over his head
Also I see people saying that their relationship is boring and they have no reason to like each. Are we even reading the same story? I mean clearly both boys went through trauma and abandonment and found comfort within themselves and started to develop feelings. That makes so much sense so i don’t understand the criticism.
