So I started rereading and I'm at the second chapter but I see it... Ian has the same personality that I loved so much in Brian he's just been manipulated out of his mind. other than that he's still fighting for justice and is willing to go to great lengths for the goodness of the world. Also the sass is still there and I love it. he's just been mislead about what's good and bad because organized religion gives you a sure set of right and wrong, when Brian had the privilege of discovering his morals on his own and was free to choose In a sense Brian was the boss of himself he chose what to do and when to act and Ian never had that privilege he's a soldier in this life one heavily manipulated by a religious organization but I saw it i saw the same soul in them and I'm honestly so much better now and kudos to the writer I didn't even realize this the first time I read it Also I can see Brian's influence on modern day sol he kinda feels more involved and even playful about governing his country than when Brian was alive this is very interesting and so well written I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy one of the greatest stories written ever
Fr I actually love how much thought the author has put into crafting the characters and world of this story. Deffo ranked among my favourites back in season 1, but season 2 has somehow pushed it even further up. I genuinely can't wait to see what'll happen from here onwards
