So basically when the ML was a kid a so called prophet came to his house and said that his father would never be able to have a second child his father trained him like crazy so he would be the perfect heir but then as we know he has a younger brother (technically he would die if the MC didn't saved everyone from the epidemy so...)
But ML thinks is the fake prophet fault that his father was trash to him
I think his reaction is kind of dumb because his like "I hate all prophets" when he should hate fake prophets and our precious Eugene saved his ass with the future knowledge he had so he is NOT FAKE
He is gonna go after him and apologize the MC is gonna be like "I am not coming back" then ML starts chasing and helping MC and the Crown Prince, after a while he realized Eugene is hiding more than the future (coming for another world) and that he literally cant speak or he will cough blood then he's like "I gonna wait until you able to tell me" MC is touched by him forgives him then battles everywhere then they win happy ever after

I read some spoilers... actually I read the resume of the novel basically and even though I understand at the same time I don't feel like ML was doing the right thing ...
