I really don’t understand the Jo hate

Same here. He's not really a bad character, and we don't really know much about him compared to tj so I understand why ppl prefer Tj. I wish the author show us more about him

its because TJ is a safer option in the shipping war. hes known Ian longer, they have history and people know more about TJ.

I always tend to root for the new guy, because its crazy to me that suddenly when a new ML shows up the old ML wants to start acting right
