if you want another story over a long period of their lives with good character development, read complex (MANDA ringo). There're like two scenes with a pedophile though, so beware. The first scene is important to the story, it shows how one of the MC's was molested and nearly raped as a child which results in a lot of the drama on his end. The second is just twisted comic relief. Don't let the pedophile put you off, he almost isn't even in the story and it'd be a waste for you to NOT read this manga.

Try the manga Yatteranneeze! it's been a while since I've read it but I remember it's full of angst and it's long and it's satisfying as well.
I really loved the art and the story! Can someone recomment me storys like this? :D
