To extend on this I really wish rastha didn’t have the ending she did especially more in the novel she obsessed with being like the empress and truly admire her. If you look at her relationship with shit—it was quite literally a master and slave relationship. She fell in “love” with him only because he saved her. She genuinely thought she had his child. Not to say the action she made were not horrible because they were. But her back story is very typical villainess backstory were more often then not the villainess is redeemed. I genuinely if written with less aggression toward her people would be more sympathetic toward her situation and even want her to be redeemed.
I'm not gonna defend Rashta, bc in the end she was made to really just be a vile human being despite her status but I get where you're coming from. The narrative is all about her misdeeds and just how corrupted she is when as you said, there could've been so much more to her side of the story.
That's what makes this manhwa so average to me. It was written for pure indulgement to enjoy Navier slay and Trashta pay, with little else to say.
It's not a bad thing if that's what you're going for, but with so many chapters and how praised the story gets I don't get how there's this little nuance.
I think that's also why slowly more and more people are questioning the length of the story.
I know you don’t have media literacy, but I never said that— I said that there could be more nuance to her character especially since she was literally a slave and her relationship was shit was never a real one. You should look up what in means just in general to be in a relationship with someone with more power over you like legitimate power hopefully you will learn something:)
Im just pointing out that she made similar decisions if not as worse as some of the villainess revenge story there are where people do not treat the main character as this disgusting vile creature because it written in such a way to sympathize with them right— I saying to look beyond just was the author has written into the subtext right? Goodluck
You should look up "karma". I can't believe you're brain rotted enough to the point you think she deserves a pass for being a woman. Yes she's done similar to villainesses that get redeemed, but you don't have the brain cells to see the difference is that those characters WANT to be redeemed, and BEHAVE in a way that shows that. Are you really that stupid while attempting to insult my intelligence? Brain rot is real just because it's a woman.
It's not about her as a person, but Rashta as a fictional character as a whole and what she represents. It's about the way that the author CHOSE to present Rashta.
Ali and I too understand that she's a total pos and deserves what she got in the story. The argument is that there >could've been more< to her and that it >would< make the story more interesting.
If you're gonna throw insults around without actually knowing what you're so offended about, I suggest you check that smooth pebble up there that you sometimes use for thinking and make sure it doesn't leave your skull again.
So you're so stupid that you responded to something I very clearly tagged and directed at someone else as if it was towards you? What a moron. You also seem to think you know more about the character and what she deserves than the actual author? Just because you like a POS you think the author MUST make her redeemable? You should learn to read stories without making everything about you lmfao
Just to voice my complaints bc I rarely see people talk about it: I wish Sovieshit took more L's. To me it feels like he got away easy just bc he's Emperor. Like from a narrative pov, you know what I mean? His agony gets to be romantized (yearning to get back Navier) despite also being a pos and commiting some lowkey crimes for Rashta here and there. I hope he gets dethroned for whatever reason. Persecute the Emperor, eat the rich I say.
