actually I think for eve they do need to fuck. Since eve is an older generation esper, he doesn't have those new enhancements that the newer generation has, he can't retain what he needs through physical contact alone. He needs sex or the chemical guiding in order to get it. At least, this is what I remember from past chapters. If I'm wrong, someone correct me plz!
