BTW this is me saying they may be able to talk things out next chapter, but they'll still spend time apart to further mature. Both have their roles in the breakup and they truly need to be given time apart to develop as individuals (especially Leo) so they can return to each other at a healthier state.

There was part when he was apologizing and he said “you put up with everything … no that’s not it I was at fault I’m sorry”

Leo IS LEARNING and i feel like once jj communicates his feelings
And they have some type of conversation,
Then leo will be able understand jj more
And jj will know then to communicate his feelings properly

See, I don't hate Leo. Actually, I think he's kinda cute, but man, he took too long and I'm unsure if he truly understands the reasons for their breakup.
Leo apologized but it was vague and had lots of "I'm hurting". When you apologize you take responsibility for your actions, he really hasn't so far. Maybe they'll go into it more next chapter, so I'll wait for the final judgment.
Also, even if they come to an understanding, it's too late. JJ has already signed everything and is packed to go, they'll still separate because JJ can't just break the new contract now. Which wouldn't be a problem if Leo had set his ego aside earlier, during the many months JJ pushed back talks about the new contract and still held out hope. Because surprise, not only one person has to carry the emotional weight of a relationship.
