Ines pushing Carcel into cheating is from the novel that the manhwa cut out bc they want ppl to like her more.

Deserving or not deserving, they're fated for each other and ppl in the beginning hated Carcel more than Ines so I don't even know what you're going on about. The ppl who are mad at Ines are few. Carcel isn't even going to get mad at her when he gets his feelings bc he's a very understanding person.

No there was a lot of hate for Ines too when the story progressed, but my point was there was nothing to be mad about from either side regardless of whether the memories return or not.

That's can be seen too after their marriage but again it's not something I would hate on considering how he was before marriage but also her past.

Not even hating on her but the reason ppl even bring it up is bc of the Carcel hate. They hate him for cheating but then worship Ines. If ppl are upset at him cheating, then why even worship Ines bc she made him do it. That's the point. I don't hate either of them and like them both but I see more Carcel hate than Ines hate and I only see ppl talk about Ines as not a good person is to defend Carcel from those haters.

I'm not even talking about after marriage bc obviously he didn't cheat after marriage. It's the before marriage that he cheated and ppl hate him for that and even like you said, "that was on him" so you excusing Ines for what she did to him before marriage even tho she caused it.

I never did that, him doing what he did was on him, it was his choice, but I'm not hating on him for that since Ines didn't care. But Ines was going through PTSD to even bother at that time, like literally all she did was not have time for him whilst she was struggling health wise then in the end left him to do what he was doing. Like I said I don't care about what carcel did since it doesn't matter to ines.

This is what I was saying, people defending carcel and people defending ines but putting both of them down was what annoyed me, I saw loads of carcel hate back then too but I remember seeing a lot of ines hate too whilst defending carcel and I still see them.

In the novel, before Ines went through those four years, she was actively plotting and engaging in this an elaborate scheme to prevent Carcel from falling for her by lovebombing him to scare him off, wearing black clothes, altering her attire to look severe like a nun and engaging in a psychology that she hoped would help society encourage Carcel to think he deserves better than her. Her thought process…all of it is in the novel.

This is why novel readers assert that she isn’t innocent, the author points this out as well and many Korean readers complained about her just as much as they complained about Carcel. Manhwa cut all of this out so increase her likeability. That’s why only novel readers know about this although manhwa did include the fact that Ines actively sought advice from lawyers when they were as young as 12 about divorce. It shows her clear intent to use a kid’s life for her expressed selfish purpose. This is a kid who hasn’t even done any wrong or right yet and there she was plotting to divorce him even when she knows nobles rather kill their spouse than divorce their spouse. Any reader who has read her thoughts in the novel would feel uncomfortable about it if they have a good conscience especially since at the time Carcel was a young kid who was only engaged in taking succession lessons and just being an innocent kid.

So even before those four years of hers, she was doing her best to negatively influence Carcel to encourage him in the wrong direction. We also should remember that she had memories of Carcel helping her and her past lover escalate the soldiers in the previous timeline. This was mentioned in ep.19. How is she repaying someone who risked his life and family to help her by using him like this?

But cartoons have limited scenes. That's what might be included.

Perhaps that's why, unlike the novel, Ines' selfish purpose was not emphasized. I am also sad that only carcel has become a bad character unilaterally.

I think they're both flawed people, and they're both bad people. To each other. They are selfish in different ways. Even when they were young, Ines overwhelmingly did. In the past life, too.

So in the early days when the novel was serialized, Ines was also criticized a lot. If carcel is the man who betrayed his fiancee her, Ines is the woman who used her young fiance her.

I think that the two main characters are both imperfect people. And I think they are a pe rfect couple who can fill in each other's imperfections. No matter who blames them, eac h other is the best option for them. The journey to show it was my novel.

For me I get it that the novel has more detail but from a webtoon perspective I just don't think there should be hate for ines or carcel. Im not picking who is better and who needs more criticism they both did things to eachother all I'm saying is I'm just tired of seeing hate for them. For me I couldn't care less about the novel details I'm basing my thoughts of off the webtoon and from the webtoon neither deserve blame for each others actions, however they both have accountability for their own actions is what I'm saying. But yes they are both perfect for eachother.

Ultimately, it’s good that you defend both of them and indeed they’re perfect for each other. I think you will like all the development ahead because their relationship just gets better and better.
