im not a gojo hard stan (tbh it was already a good ending for me when nobara came back alive JESUS WEPT) butttt i felt like they really just didn't acknowledge gojo's sacrifices enough? y'know? like it felt so empty. all that for nothing. it felt like he really was left behind. that's just my two cents tho.
actually no i need to rant about this because i wouldn’t necessarily say the story contained plot holes however there were many parts that are left at question, gege had the opportunity to dive more into the characters but he decided not to. he had a strong plot, a strong start off, but to use the excuse “ i don’t like gojo “ into ultimately erasing his entire character and title he himself created is the most childish thing a writer can do. rather than giving the story an easy end, gege should’ve taken a break to prepare himself. i understand not liking a story to the extent of wanting to hurry up and finish it off however to leave things at an unsatisfying end solely for your satisfaction of wanting to quit is insane. i’d rather the story remain incomplete for however long if it meant getting the writing that was deserved. gojo ( just like most of the characters ) barely had any proper closure. he wanted to make a proper burial for geto and wasn’t even able to do that. he didn’t deserve an off screen death, and there was no need to drag on the fight with sakuna. it shouldn’t have been this long i don’t understand why he let the story go so much ughhh
After the shibuya incident it lowkey went downhill and hit rock bottom around 240ish. So many plot holes and wasted potential...it just feels wierd. What a letdown to what could've been possibly one of the greatest shonen mangas ever. Also I'm not a gojo hardcore fan but that character deserved better man, its sad to see the character who literally brought in most fans being treated so horribly.
thoughts on the jjk ending?
