People who aren’t taking the story seriously like it was intended, would care. If you think about it, the relationship was already ruined. Both the son and alpha ruined their relationship by cheating and you can tell by the time each found out, neither actually cares enough about each other to seriously be mad. The feelings were gone for a while.
By ruining the relationship, the relationship would’ve had to be good and happy and the beta finding out, thus making the relationship broken. But the beta was chilling until the very end.

Huh? I thought it was clear he has backbone since as soon as he was caught cheating, he didn’t pursue the relationship with the mc anymore. He also didn’t have any problem using his fists to fight ppl. I truly believe that he genuinely didn’t like the mc anymore during the relationship which is why he was chill at the end. Let’s be real here, both of them are ppl who cheated on their partners multiple times- aka neither being a spur of the moment mistake. You normally don’t cheat if you love the person you’re with.
The author wrote the entire story as a comedy from the start. I also don’t see anyone hating the beta? Unless you mean ppl who call out everyone’s wrongs and not ignoring the things the beta also did
He had no backbone because he only blamed the alpha and not his father who's also the one who continued the relationship plus the the author literally made him cheat as a way to balance them out Lmao
I doubt anyone would care for his backstory now that he actually ruined his son's long term relationship though he's not the main perpetrator but he's still part of it
