It would make sense if the fiance is the o ly one who is exciled, but why the family?
If you think about it logically in that time period if you commit a grevious enough crime you and your family can be exiled or sentenced to death. Forbidden magic is forbidden for a reason in this world. I think the only reason her and her family are alive is because of the fact she saved the life of the green haired guy.
That's about my understanding in regards to it anyways.

To understand the logic: the fiance used banned magic (this is why she looks like a child), but not the fiance get exciled, but her family? What kind of logic is this?
