So basically our MC's thread was orginally tied to sm else. By "forcefully" tying the string, he basically cut his string and tied it to his own. In later chapters you can see close ups of the string and they look like two different pieces of string tied together. (As for the second part, I don't wanna spoil too much but it basically means ML altered MC's future so him and ML are always together)

Alright I'm officially dropping this manhwa, thank u for confirming that ml is red flag. I'm glad I dont continue to read this just to be dissapointed later. Based on the reviews I know many people find this interesting but this is just not to my liking... (⌒▽⌒)

It's such a shame because I like the concept but why it's always a dickhead ML that ruin everything. (￣∇￣")

Well its revealed that when ML was a child, he made a deal with a spirit "to become" the MC. And that is the reason for the car crash, etc. The MC lost everything while the ML became a famous child actor and stole his role. That's also why their strings are different colored but tied together. (The ML just has sex wherever he wants, hes actually an asshole)

What an assholeeeee..did ML at least tell mc or a bit reget for what he did. I assume since ML was just a child, he didnt what he do to poor Mc. He didnt know that his action led to mc suffering. Did..he..at..least..feel..a..bit..regret (⊙…⊙ )

Hasn't got that far yet. But it seemed that the result wasn't what the ml was going for. He wanted to be close to MC, but finding out that if he is, they could both die, or at least something sinister happens. Since that means the spirit gets what he wants. But in the latest chapter, the black thread on ml's side seems to be turning red a bit. So maybe there's a turning point. He hasn't revealed it's all his fault tho. I have a feeling he'll get the the guilt trip soon though cause I think he's starting to fall genuinely in love with mc

I dont care about ML feeling anymore even if he feel regret later on and try to redeem it. He still is the culprit behind MC suffering and ML should know what he did when he was a child (I mean it all started right when he cut MC thread). And the fact that he didnt come to MC sooner. Heck I think before MC met ML by chance, ML would not even intent to meet MC at all. Real asshole (︶︿︶)＝凸

I only read until chpater 18 and so far ML is so manipulative and MC is dumb. I hope MC will end up with the his true partner.

Well... It happened when he was a kid, and he made an kid's innocent wish to that spirit. And to be truthful, the spirit cut the thread, not the ML. Once he thought he got a chance to be close, he found out the MC was in an accident and had quit. So he couldn't meet him. And it was his uncle that warned him to stay away from MC in the first place. I know he's a jackass, and a smart eleck, but seriously think that he'll have his redemption arc soon, and maybe even the Spirit he made a wish to will be revealed by the MC. Cause ML family sees spirits all the time, but that very powerful bad spirit was the only one he could see. And why did he meet that bad spirit? Cause his jealous UNCLE locked him up with it. So . Technically it's all the uncle's fault...

Honestly I don't think he is falling in love with the MC, and even if he is it doesn't excuse his previous actions imo
