I'm aware of all of that. This is also fiction - I'm allowed to question the authors writing choices. Its OBJECTIVELY true that stalkers do not get better, they almost always escalate to violence. I do feel bad for her since he's wealthy because it makes things horrifically difficult, but my "issue" here is that author has her blushing and acting in love. It's not finished yet, so my opinion might change. We'llsee. It's also fiction, so it doesn't really matter, people can like that romantic story direction if they want. But I'm still gunna judge the author's writing choices ╮(￣▽￣)╭
