but rather than romantic blushing, i think the intimate and vulnerable conversation they had, tera's realization and the therapy session is making the boy shy, more awkward than anything around tera for how vulnerable he was and how he's now aware that he already has given tera "a chance"and tera now is more tender through all his anger at himself, like careful to not hurt him, i do see him behaving in a way that expresses guilt soon tho.
i dont understand why? but without rereading the last chs it does seem romantic, now that i eread it all it feels different and a bit deeper- kinda sad kinda hopeful, wouldnt call it romantic perse but intimate- "we share this now" typa feel.
