Nah, now that I read this I think bro is right. I do think that Bahamut took the crown prince body because when we first saw him he even killed that lil fairy the killed Mc , he was cruel and merciless

I have a theory about the crown prince.
With how much the story keeps hinting abt Bahamut achieving anything for power, even killing the people he would be close to like Momon for it. I think the crown prince being so out of character may be due to the fact that in mc’s timeline the crown prince’s ancestor took his descendant’s body.
I mean if you think about it , It wouldn’t make sense for someone who’s willing to do anything to become so untouchable to accept death just like that. Thus I wouldn’t be surprised if he did seek immortality but the only solution was to use his descendants bodies when they reach a certain weight of power.
So, the current emperor could be Bahamut and he’s just bidding his time to take the crown prince’s body as his new vessel.
Which could explain the weird ooc. While the Mc did cause butterfly effects no way it would have such big effects on the prince’s personality. Or it could be just me and the Prince is two faced .
