I agree with pretty much everything you said but romance subplots ruin a ton of action too. It's not as bad of an issue as ones with female mcs (bc you can actually still find some that are romance free) but it's definitely still there. So many A class stories ruined by love triangles and harems ಥ‿ಥ
Anyways my girls do not need men to be happy! We need more aroace representation in manga/hwa/hua (ノ｀Д´)ノ彡┻━┻
so real, not saying I don't fw romance, I do, but sometimes I just want to read something with friendship, family dynamic, self development, with no romance in sight, if they make romance the main plot in action story, I think I should just go and read shoujo But I don't mind a little romance though
Why does every manhwa/manag/manhua have every female mc have a romance interest or romance as a subplot I have yet to find a fl where she doesn’t end up with anyone like I’m the real one had so much potential. The original novel had no romance, but for some reason, the adaptation for it is practically a fanfiction of it. I’m actually mad about it they turned it into a fucking love triangle and sappy, romance story. They don’t ever do that to action manhwas that have male mcs so why do they have to do it with fl mc and ruin the fucking story. Not every story has to have romance.
