The most sad thing in this is probably Seth's (MC) backstory.

Yes there's incest, but it's between gods, so it somehow doesn't work. And yes they're all siblings.
...saw what happened and knew that Seth was blackmailed into sleeping with his older brother and knew that if he wouldn't his son would die, she blamed Seth that he seduced his brother and really hated him for that. Seth killed his brother and claimed the throne of Egypt.
Then some centuries passed, his older sister came back with her son, he and Seth fought and Seth lost. He was striped off his powers and demoted to being only a demi-god. And he was supposed to attone for his sins. But he really suffered. He was raped multiple times, was beaten, starved and lots of other bad things.
Though it's looking much better now, these are the parts that could be called sad. And if your asking, the ML is the son of the older sister, so Seth's nephew.
I definitely didn't write down everything, there are lots of more things, but by me this is the most you need to know.
And even though i writen all this, Ennead is one of my most favorite manhwas and I absolutely love this story.
The story is absolutely fantastic, it's got lots of funny or cute moments, most of the characters are really complex and the artstyle is just on another level. Some people doesn't like the dark side of this story, but if you can get over it, you'll find one of the best mahwas out there.

Not me who just finish reading this :D anyways ml him since he was overcome by this uncontrollable lust from being trapped in a mirror or sum i don’t remember and the recurring assaults on Seth is a type of karma/punishment since during his reign, he did prompt a lot of human trafficking from his followers so they can sacrifice A LOT of women sooooooooo it’s lwk deserved but since it’s from Seth’s perspective, it still hard to not feel sad for him, esp from his shitty backstory where he was basically wronged in every way ╥﹏╥ (still doesn’t give him the like the right to slaughter everyone)
ty for the explanation but its honestly just bad writing. The stereotypical trope of the bottom to make them suffer. And all the gods have done bad things not just seth.
