I, for one, still think it's funny that purely manga reader (and maybe LN too) will probably never guess how Guy's name is pronounced.
Also, while I appreciate authentic representation of the LN and/or manga, I'm actually okay that the anime is PG-rated, kinda.

And i guess it brings the show to a broader audience, so yeah i get how one might think
"Guy" is pronounced ghi, like ghee butter ghi. Yup.
And it's a name he picked himself because he said everytime a human saw him they always shout "GIYAAAAA!!!!" so he just shorten it to "gi".

Also for all of you wondering, the story has been slow for over 20 chapters, they've been showing us peace and fun, but slowly we're progressing towards new conflicts.
