for the father: MC forgave him, he didn’t want to be close with them anymore tho, and the MC had the condition that the father had to move out of the family house with his step mom and step bro if he’s going to give up the company to his brother (as his father requested), MC wanted that house because he grew up there with his mom until she passed away and he loves him mom a lot, so the father agreed and MC owns the house.
for the step brother: he basically kidnapped MC while he was drunk, tried to confess his feelings (which is obviously rejected) and then raped the MC after that. MC refused to ever talk to him again for a while even though he keeps popping up to apologise, then the stepbro tried to run over LiYu in a car bc he got super jealous seeing LiYu and MC walking around together, he ran into a wall and was seriously injured, afterwards MC acted like he basically didn’t exist for a while, until he kind of forgave him
