Is it weird to say I don't think the empress had suffered enough yet?

Like I don't think she really understands the horrors of an 8yo girl working 24/7 to take care of her drunken mother who literally abuses her.

+ she still loves her mother to her very core and is centering her worth based on how well she can provide for her mother while seeing their poverty as her own fault Its not enough for her to cry remembering shit that happens in the future I want her to repent for what shes already done

serve her right that she is suffering without the ability to seek forgiveness from past lirica.
it should haunt her for whole life.
    lol.

i think her way of repenting is trying to secure the “best” future for lyrica as much as possible. it’s not enough though and clearly she needs to repent in an emotional way as well, not just materialistically. i think as she unravels her previous errors, it’ll hit her harder and i hope she’ll put the real work into healing and healing her daughter

I also thought that it wasn't enough before but after now knowing that Lyrica was the one that turned back time, I think its enough. Because she was already sad and grieving for the Lyrica of the past-future who she knew loved her until the end. That's why the empress has been trying to attone for it by securing the best future for the present-Lyrica right? And now I think there's the realization that the oh so lovable Lyrica is so much more than that, that Lyrica loved her so much she turned back time for the empress (as undeserving of it as she is), I think the grief and sadness of that realization doubled and will forever hang in her conscience. Because how can you ever repay that? And she can't even say anything to the present-Lyrica because she will be forgiven and I think the empress knows she doesn't deserve that kind of kindess. Nothing she does now will never make it up to the past-future Lyrica (who she cannot even say sorry and I love you to) and the present Lyrica doesn't deserve that kind of baggage to live with.

"forever hang in her conscience". thats all I need.
so she could never forget everything she did to her own daughter.
but, in the end, Lyrica who is wronged one, forgave her mother. in the past and the present.
and its not the result of emotional manipulation or grooming, but its Lyricas nature for being kind.

Yep. I think the empress already knows now that she doesn't deserve absolution from her mistakes. Not with Lyrica deserving much more than what she can ever offer
