We dont know yet, it could be a bunch of things. Maybe it's a curse in form of a flower - or a cure for a curse. Maybe its some magical flower that replaces vision/a missing eye, and/or acts as spyware to keep an eye on the beast prince. Perhaps the flower is more of a monster with a mind of its own that infects dead bodies to live through them. The possibilities are endless rn.
