Maybe just to tell him how beautiful he was when he is horny and also how beautiful he is when he's not horny. And that he loves him. And that he doesn't want to rape him. So he would refrain from doing anything sexual to him until the effect of the drug subsides and they can talk and the MC can decide if he wants to stay or leave. And leave Season 2 with that open ending.

So basically, after raping him once in the latest chapter, in next few chapters seme says he has no will to let him go. Seme's junior comes to talk about work related stuff and ask seme to throw uke away as he tried to harm seme. Seme says that uke asked him to kill him off but seme is going to make him lose that will to die as well. He shortly reminisce about the hunting trip they went and how uke was affectionate to him and says that the autumn went by quite fast and the winters gonna be rather cold. And WE SEE THE UKE'S LEG CHAINED, DISHEVELED CLOTHES WITH BRUISES, BITE MARKS AND SEMEN EVERYWHERE.

I was so upset like I'm also into fluffy romances not this bigotry. But I can't drop it without seeing the redemption arc or something

Ugh i feel mad. Why the author saw necessary to take that direction. The plot could have been better with angst and no grape. I mean what does he even expect after killing all his family members, of course the feelings of vengeance will torment him even if he falls in love. There's so many things they could have added but as always... These kind of stories always comes with good art and fall into bad plots with romantization of toxic relationships.

Exactly. The art is worth so much but the toxic plot just overthrows the feeling of a good read. Like bru I just wanna read a good fluffy green flag story with saucy and fantastic smut art but naaah you gotta leave me with that sour taste in the mouth with utter toxic relationship.
