Does Brandon not think that if Jin has nothing to lose he would rather die together than go down alone? Is he trying to touch Jin's inverse scale? What is to stop Jin from retaliating against his fam (other than he is a proper human with a conscience) does he give 0 fucks about them? Also, are we about to see two sociopaths obsessed with Jin go head to head?
First let me say amazing questions btw ;) but I think for Brandon it’s just about knowing he has Jin as a possession he doesn’t care what quality of life Jin has. To me he’s basically showing Jin I’d rather you be miserable by my side than happy with someone else. He clearly wants to use whatever he can to drag Jin back to him wether that be with drugs or harming the people Jin loves most
I definitely have seen some spoilers on TikTok and as you said both Jin and Matthew are definitely going to be battling it out for Jin .
Also I’m glad we can an agree mentally Matthew is obsessed with Jin just as much as Brandon shit maybe even more . But Matthew also wants only the best for Jin ( both mentally and physically ) he wants to do what he can to ensure the Jin and just live a happy life but Brandon “ loves “ the idea of Jin being by his side but has no interest in supporting Jin doing anything that makes him happy which is why when together he constantly provide Jin drugs . ( sorry this reply is probably longer than you expected lol)
Nope there is no love with Brandon that is just pure obsession and possessiveness. Matthew is obsessed but it comes from a place of love. All obsessions aren't the same. It is basically the difference between being obsessed with an object/belonging/toy and being obsessed with a person. Needless to say who has which obsession. Jin buddy.... what about you is a sociopath magnet. Let's be real neither of these two people are sociopaths without basic human empathy. I don't think Matthew has non-Jin related emotions which is still somehow better than Brandon who has no emotions at all (in this case emotions means attachments or caring for people)

As much as I love Matthew I’m dumbfounded that he fucking drugged Jin for 3 ENTIRE DAYS! I know he wanted Jin to stay for his safety but for fucks sake you can’t drug him up and rape him ( yes even though they’re in a relationship if your partner is unconscious, drunk or unable to verbally consent it’s rape ) like i understand part of the reason but i know somehow he could’ve found another way .
And can we talk about the obsession Brandon has with Jin and the fact this man is MARRIED WITH CHILD ?!?!! But is choosing to make Jin’s life hell . Not because he’s “ inlove “ but simply he just wants to constant control of Jin’s life . Jin has been scorn so much from the beginning a very complex character dealing with constant guilt which Brandon exploited by giving him drugs to keep that power over him . I really hope that Jin can get out of this life because ultimately it’s broken him in the worst way possible
