The change can feel a bit sudden at parts but I think the scene in the opera does a good job at building why they work well as a couple. I won’t spoil but it deals with beliefs of loyalty and learning to love a person rather than “love at first sight”. Afterwards he shows a lot more affection and remorse.
There’s also another aspect to it that’s more with the system but that’s even heavier spoilers. So yeah he’s a dick to start off but a reasonable one in retrospect.
You don't have to read something that ticks u off, at least u know its not really a bad story or misinformed. I suggest u read the official translation as it makes thing easier to understand
right, but the mood i’m in heavily affects the way i interpret what in reading! i just read all the chapters now and i can say i really like this story, and i found myself being wayyy less annoyed by killian. i’m not so sure why i was THAT frustrated with him in the first place

should i pick this back up? its been a LONG while and i cant remember why i dropped it in the first place. i think it was after black hair guy realised mc wasn’t acc really evil. he changed a bit but he still pissed me TF off.
