-edith almost ran away but doesn’t bc she would rather die by killians hands if it meant she got to see him one last time
-blonde bitch gets mad she doesn’t get executed n tries to blame FL saying she was trying to kill her
-killian defends her countless of times n proves FL innocence everytime n begins to hate blondey more n more
-blondey reveals she’s the author n that this is her 13th time reliving the story and basically has been summoning ppl to live as edith n gets them killed each time (this is the only edith to survive which drives the author crazy)
- nearing end of story blonde bitch n crazy cliff get married n the FL N ML move territories n live happily

- edith contemplates leaving but decides not to run away and to mayb end the story by dying from killians sword (n bc she would like to see him one last time even if it means dying)
- liz doesn’t like the fact that she survived n doesn’t get executed bc killian gets to choose her punishment (ofc he isn’t gna punish her)
- liz then tries to cram FL saying that she was trying to kill her (killian proves FL innocence n liz goes crazy) btw cliff is still at her defense
- FL tells ML she’s reincarnated
- after FL recovers a bit she confronts liz n find out she’s the og author
- author reveals that this is her 13th time living in this story n that this edith made it the furthest bc she drove the other 12 girls to their death (what a psycho)
- AUTHOR GETS AWAY WITH EVERYTHING BC BCIT NEVER GETS BROUGHT UP LIKE WTF
- liz n crazy cliff get married n FL N ML move to the other territory n live happily ever after ig

the reason why it’s so disappointing bc the author gets away with all her crimes n lives a happy life? the duke family never apologizes to edith which is crazy bc she was accused countless of times n was even tortured but no one cares :/

Noooo blondie and cliff don't get a happy ending! They do get married but blondie makes everyone's lives a living hell (Cliff, Duke, Duchess, the nice glasses blonde dude who's name I forgot etc.) because she starts to completely loose her marbles over the fact that she doesn't have control anymore. Cliff gets mentally tortured as he starts to realise blondie is truly bat shit crazy and doesn't give a flying f*** about him as long as it doesn't serve her greed.
The nice glasses blonde dude then goes to live with Edith and Killian cause he's done with blondie going insane so that helps Edith and her territory out.


I read the novel a few months back so I don't know if blondie gets arrested again or sent off to an asylum or nunnery or something, but basically Cliff ends up FINALLY meeting a girl who actually shows him love and doesn't just use him (but before this he was married to blondie for at least a few months so dude definitely did not have a nice time and didn't get off scot-free). In the meantime Edith and Cliff have kids (plural I think), are worried about the state of affairs back home, run their territory amazingly well, and are actually able to be completely happy when blondie gets sent away cause they're not constantly worrying about the dukedom and their parents having to put up with blondie being a lil piece of shit.
