Im thinking the same, why did she really want to run away? If its bcs she died in novel, thats too shallow. He wasnt planning anything to harm her and treat her really good, but JUST WHYYY ERTHAAA?!?!??! LOLOL dropping this
Not to mention!!! the main reason he even devoured her was so to the smell of blood and drugs from the count guy he killed! that plot point had past so there was less and less of a reason to run away. this comic made me want to pull my hair out lol I’m definitely glad i dropped when i did.
I’m currently at 67 and all i have to say is I’m grateful i came to the reviews early on before i was past chapter 100 and felt it necessary to just continue reading.
This really had potential and it started off pretty good, but between chapters 30-45 the translation was horrid and i ended up skipping a good chunk of it. Now, I’m getting so fed up of the back and forth of this broad going “do i love him? no i have to leave him” “does he love me? he could never i have to leave him” like first of all, it hasn’t even been a full year and this bitch is already making plans to run away. And I’d be fine with that if he actually did something to her or her siblings that made her unhappy, but let’s be honest here, aside from being a tyrant he hasn’t done shit to her or her loved ones. and she’s goes from happy that he’s taking care of the problems around her caused by the nobility, and terrified that he doesn’t actually care about her and she’ll be killed.
BUT SHES ALREADY ACKNOWLEDGE A BILLION TIMES THAT THE DAMN NOVEL HAS CHANGED! so I’m so confused why she’s so hellbent on keeping up the belief that he’s going to eat her or that he can’t love her.
Is he a good ml? tbh, i like him more than some mls cause he’s at least showing his care for her in his own twisted way rather than just ignoring her or forcing her like most would do. so yes, i actually like him more than the fl.
And don’t even get me started on the other characters. She’d rather trust the murder crazy pope who’s actively shown that he has nothing but ill intentions towards magicians and her damn near, than the guy who tries to always make sure she was safe and happy like??? idk about anyone else, but I’d rather take my chances getting eaten by the guy who’s magic may drive him crazy than the dude whose meant to be the embodiment of a god but goes around murdering people ??? at least in close quarters with the duke you can try and change him and at least find away to send the kids away if anything goes wrong. but what happens if the pope follows her to the other country? then the kids will once again be in trouble..so dumb
in addition, the inconsistent ass drawings makes it so hard to stay focused. sometimes I’ll zone back in and just see their sharp ass noses lifted to the heavens. it’s wild, so I’m glad i dropped before it deteriorated more.
