It was never about the murder itself but the bizzare behaviour of the MC, but realistically kids and teenagers can surprisingly apathetic.
The tone was set right away from the first scene that opened boys ranking girls and MC categorising people in 4 Tiers.

That pretty literally slipped and died on her own, maybe we'll find out in about 10 chapters. And the story continues on for over a 100 chapters after that..so no, it was NEVER a murder mystery
the tonal shift is so weird in this manwha why did we go from psychological thriller murder mystery to true beauty high school girl fantasy land and no they cannot convince me to like MC just because she has a glow up now
