you're 100% right. even when he had asked the question about if Kaname would quit his job for him, It's easy to know he did not mean that at all, and he'd have been even more miserable and guilty had that happened.

You get me! Seme is VERY devoted and loyal (is there someone like this in real life? lol) while the Uke is this envious and miserable (but also a good person) which makes him so human. Seriously, the moment he quit everything and went back to his parents' house to hide and runaway and be depressed is so relatable. That would be something I would 100% do in that situation LOL

Jealousy is something you can't control. Once the uke realized he's being a pos, he decided to let go. You should be with someone you love yourself with. Though seme's really a green flag, I don't think uke is bad, it's a realistic portrayal of inferiority complex.
