Finally someone who got the story from a POV stand point. The story is in Leo's POV, the one who didn't listen. So how would we, readers, would know if JJ did or did not air any frustration if the POV ignores JJ. I wanna hug you.
So far, we can see JJ communicates, just not getting angry or outright upset. But he says what he wants or dislikes.
YESSS. And I can't shake it off that side characters never berated JJ. In fact they all took JJ's side, especially Frank, being the closest person to both of them. But because we are following Leo's POV, those details feel brushed off or just simply hinted because Leo doesn't see the issue or aware of his surroundings and other people.
To me, if side characters are siding with JJ, that means they know JJ did what he had to do, it's just that Leo kept ignoring.
jj is not in the wrong for leaving leo. Leo needs to use this time to reflect on how he actually felt about jj and reflect on how he treated jj. JJ should've manned tf up and vocalized how he felt from the jump. Their communication was terrible so i see how they ended up here. I don't mind if they get back together tbh, I'd actually prefer it but in the sense that they took (if they get back together in a time skip or sumthn) or take time to think about their actions and their true feelings first.
