I think i get it ( but yeah its dumb)
The fl is obligated to marry someone else otherwise she thinks shell get disowned so to get the ml without getting disowned she was planning on marrying some dude her family picked and having a semi-romantic relationship with the ml on the side
Her parents qgreed to this , letting her take the ml with her when she gets married
But she didnt tell the ml
The ml is trying to prevent a loveless marriage for the Fl because he does love her he knows her parents wont disown her if she gets pregnant so he has a certain amount of time to " change her" so that she gets pregnant its a steal the bride kind of situation
and her parents wont kill him for it cause once he is changed she cant get pregnant from any body else
But he doesnt tell the fl
