they portrayed his "second persona" pretty bad, but it's understandable

don't want to be a know-it-all, but in the novel his persona is actually integrated into part of his personality, so it's not like he's possessed and more like he can't help but like tea and enjoy cleaning and being diligent now. It's very funny in the novel, since he's not used to being so determined to exercise 50 hrs a day, and he misses his old greediness. This is why i can relate to the viewers who aren't so happy with his "possessed persona", but it's understandable, since it would also be difficult to milk the most comedy out of a concept that looks best when written.
