I agree as well, Maxi is strong but not strong and Riftan literally has to worry abt her safety and everyone else around him. It's a given, she wanted to prove herself understandable and needed the experience sure. But the knights can't be there to save her either. Or Riftan for that matter. I too feel like she should've focus more on her training so she can be stronger and such, it feels she just wants to be like the princess in a way. But It is what it is.
Yeah, totally agree! She always compares herself to the princess and it's probably due to her low self-esteem!
Hmm...the rest I wrote disappeared...but I also wrote; If only they could talk to each other properly, many misunderstandings would be resolved!!
Take it easy on the Riftan's slander! Yeah, he has attitude but who wouldn't when you are the commander of everyone + your wife is suddenly there and you have to worry about her too! Those of you who have read the novel know that the communication between these two is catastrophically bad....*sigh*
Maxi may be a strong woman but not THAT strong. She's just started to learn a bit more of a basic type of magic, so Riftan has every right to be worried about her!
