Minus ch 14 - which was the author not knowing even parallels for some reason. Leo hurting is inevitable. Breaking up hurts but life moves on. So to say that JJ purposely was hurting Leo for 1) breaking up, 2) leaving the team, 3) going to Germany - just doesn't sound right. The story is fast paced, it has been months since they broke up - as said in ch 16, I think. JJ is choosing himself - which he has put aside to accommodate Leo. And Leo discovering that love goes beyond what he thought was enough. It hurts. And no matter what JJ does, the moment he addressed the issues, Leo is going to be hurt, whether they are together or not.
So...hurting is part of the whole journey. Leo can't stay living in a bubble.
