I think that’s just the reality of Chaebols/rich people though, you are raised carefully because they expect you to maintain the wealth/family name. You have an arranged marriage to maintain the wealth/family name. The only reason this guy is rebelling from it is because he became a yandere for the FL. If he had never met her and only known people fawning over him then he would’ve probably done exactly what was expected of him with little qualms. Unless he met a different poor girl to become his novelty in college.
Plus most of the monitoring we’ve seen is a result of him rebelling/chasing the FL. He would probably be free to do whatever he wanted (as an incredibly wealthy man) as long as he married well and did his job adequately.

Like I said, this behavior is perfectly normal for their social class. Being born with wealth and privilege requires you to meet certain expectations (I.e marry someone else with wealth and privilege) to maintain that wealth and privilege. Keeping sane? I would say the majority of them keep a moderate amount of sanity, they have their money and privilege to soften the blow I imagine.
Haven’t you read any other manhwas or seen any K-Dramas with Chaebols? You don’t get to just be born and then do whatever you want, you have a duty to the family name/wealth.
I don’t think we can really call it toxic when it’s just the standard for their way of living, it’s to far divorced from our normal and our standard of healthy within that normal. They have a completely different standard of normal and healthy within their normal.
