Honestly I don’t think the king guy was that bad? He did what a king should do and raised an heir while maintaining the nobles on both sides. Yeah he’s an ass but you know a decent king. The love interest thing was always kinda hinted at, when the building was crumbling a couple chapters back we could tell that they were both interested in the second empress. To the point even the king guy was like “hey bro that’s my second wife.” As for the ending I don’t have much to say but I see that others are saying it’s the same as the novel, so ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I actually liked his character, but not HIM. If that makes sense.
I'm just saying how I expected him to go down more tragically. Like he just died like that.
And I get that the love interest was building up. But he became the ML SO RANDOMLY.
It really does make sense because he did so little to be a good villain while all the other antagonists like blew up building and killed people
So like... that's just it? Just like that? After everything?
I expected the ex-emperor to go down in a more... yk, tragic way? The sudden appereance of spirit kings and so many other things left unexplained.
Marquess Vlemir is also such a random love interest. IMO, she didn't even need one if it were going to be this random.
Didn't understand half of the things regarding big Leon. I was also hoping to see kiddos grow up. Like how in "Who made me a Princess" we can see Athanasia grow up as the time passes.
Last chapter was so random and rushed.
Honestly disappointed in the ending, as this has been one of my favorites for a while.
