I think I read that the ig family (mostly the father) didn’t get bewitched or brainwashed. He just believed that because MC had no spiritual power that she wasn’t worth it and since his second daughter had spiritual power that she’s his real daughter, so I don’t feel bad for og family at all

yea mood, I felt bad for og fam but then read that spoiler and I’m like bruh the emperor still lived a pretty good life compared to Mc who just suffered and got wronged in so many ways
in the first couple chaps, I can tell this is one of those "the og family was possessed/magicked/etc to hate mc and treat her poorly" which always make me so sad. most of the time the og family loved the mc when some fake child takes over and ruins everything or smt. og families are sometimes victims but still get hate hurts, tho the way some mcs refuse them even after the truth is revealed due to trauma is so valid ╥﹏╥
so far I'm betting the empress threw away this mc without the emperor or prince knowing or realizing in some way?? I'm a lil sus in the sense that depending on when mc was thrown out, how long did it take her father to realize? I can imagine he took a long time to find her cuz I don't doubt there's a bunch of orphanages. the current empress if def not mc bio mom cuz that would not make sense. so maybe in the orphanage for like 3 yrs? on top of the the red haired chick is clearly scheming and I'm positive somehow manipulated mc father.
