To me it looks like new guy is still way older than Kuno's friend seen as he thinks of Kuno's mom as his sister
But I mean, for him to call her nee-san (nee-sama ), he needs to be younger than Kuno's mom. He could even be the age of Kuno himself.
I am so glad they introduced a new character for the 2nd couple and not a redemption arch for the teacher cause no matter what his story might have been he is for the streets !!!!!
