finally someone in the comments who sees things as they are and not by their feelings of a poor smallie uke. JJ for sure did wrong not expressing his feelings, but damn, Leo did the worst. I can say JJ woprst error is the rape scene , but i will just delete that chapter from my mind, cause it was unneccessary and out of character.
as for the rest, the people who are on Leo side, are the same people who fight with their lovers because they forgot to say "good night" to them. Hypocrites
Yeahhh, that what my original post was gonna be about. Many of those that excuse Leo's more negative or toxic traits probably also expect their lovers to follow them around and don't see anything wrong with it. Cause yeah JJ did a very bad thing, but that doesn't automatically erase the fact that Leo has essentially been using JJ - not even going into the fact that Leo has coerced JJ into sex as well like we see in the beginning.
It irks me so badly that Leo gets so many passes because "he's a little guy! He's ditzy! He didn't mean it!" You do know that doing something without thinking is sometimes worse than knowingly doing so, right? Leo is a grown ass man like JJ is, he doesn't need every little thing to be spelt out for him. Not that it's hard to understand JJ either, because everyone sees it. JJ feels that Leo does not value him in their relationship. He literally says it when he asks Leo "do you see me as your boyfriend?" Leo keeps asking what he did wrong and why did they break up, but he never stops to think about what JJ has told him. He barely registered that JJ was not happy in the relationship, that JJ hasn't smiled for a while.
